Dear CSW Alums,
I am working on gathering content for a virtual admissions event we have coming up for prospective families. One of the biggest questions families seem to have about a CSW education is one that is super hard to quantify--how well does it prepare you for the future?
Nothing we can say will be as compelling as hearing from our alums directly. Please take just a minute or two to share a short video testimonial about what you took away from CSW and how your time here helped set you on a successful path. Even one sentence will be helpful if we can get enough of them. (Please also share this request with any friends you're still in touch with from CSW!)
There are recording tips and sample prompts below, if you'd find that helpful. Thank you for considering adding your voice! I'm genuinely looking forward to hearing your stories…they mean so much to the CSW faculty and staff, and I know they’ll be so reassuring to prospective families.
With gratitude,
Melisa

Recording Tips:
- You can record directly to ThankView on your desktop or mobile device, or you can upload a video you record on your phone.
- Make sure to film horizontally so you fill the frame.
- Keep your device close for good sound quality but far enough away that you are the focus. Try 3-4 feet.
- Choose a location that provides balanced lighting, whether that's outside or a room that has a lot of natural light. Record with the window facing you so you benefit from the natural light. If the window is behind you, you will appear shadowed.
- Avoid blustery locations or areas with a lot of foot or vehicle traffic as your device’s mic may pick up noise.
Prompts to get your ideas flowing:
- Start with an intro so we can make a title bar for you: name, grad year, college(s), and/or your current work.
- Tell us about how CSW experience prepared you to succeed in college or a job you've had in your time post-CSW.
- Tell us about what you do now, and how a project/class/person/experience at CSW sparked that passion or journey for you.
- Tell us about a connection you made at CSW that is still meaningful for you today.
- Share your biggest "takeaways" from your CSW experience, and what it meant for you.
